Teens are visiting the mall 28 times per year, down about 30% from the peak in 2007, according to a recent report by Piper Jaffray

It really starts making me wonder if this article is something to go by  is that part of the shopping journey (especially when it came to clothes) was a purely a social occasion. Under America’s new austerity attitude is there the realisation that people do not need to buy as much in order to feel satisfied. Let’s be honest it is Asia that is now the insatiable consumer.

I think the new generation – now teens – will provide us a few more surprises as they grow up.
